Unique home and fashion accessories designed & hand crafted by Kirsten Bailey in Brisbane, a designer and maker of hand-home and fashion accessories more recently focusing on Indigo Dyeing using Shibori techniques. Lava Living pieces are inspired by traditional cultures that once flourished and lived in harmony with the natural world.

Kristy works with natural textiles using skilled traditional Shibori and Indigo dyeing techniques to present a modern interpretation of ancient crafts. Although the majority of her creations are dyed with Indigo you may find certain lines in other colours that are explorations using fibre reactive dyes dyes which complement the rest of the Indigo collection.

There is also a collection of nature inspired screen prints on hand-made paper that make incredibly beautiful framed art pieces, or can be used for paper craft projects. Natural materials are carefully chosen & combined with skilled handmade techniques to create unique products that enhance your lifestyle.
